The second round of the Kyiv Open Club Championship among children born in 2010-2012.
Recently, the second round of the Kyiv Open Club Table Tennis Championship among children born in 2010-2012 and younger ended at the Dragomanov Pedagogical University. The event brought together young athletes from various clubs in the city, who demonstrated a bright game, true team support and an unwavering will to win. A total of 17 teams born in 2010 and younger and 24 teams born in 2012 and younger took part in the tournament, which indicates a high level of interest in children's table tennis in Kyiv and its surroundings.
In this round, young athletes from the Pulse Cadet Team and Pulse Junior Team showed decent results, finishing the tournament with significant positions among their rivals.
Pulse Team Results
Pulse Cadet Team (born 2012 and younger) took 9th place among 24 teams in their category. Despite serious competition, the team players demonstrated a well-coordinated team game, showed cool plays and excellent endurance. Each game became a test for the young athletes and at the same time valuable experience that will help improve their results in the next rounds.
Pulse Junior Team (born 2010 and younger) took 8th place out of 17 teams in their age category. Despite their first experience in these competitions, the Pulse Junior Team players showed character and teamwork, which allowed them to win a place at the top of the tournament table.
Next steps and expectations
The Pulse Cadet and Pulse Junior teams are already preparing for the upcoming stages of the championship, analyzing mistakes and improving their skills. Coaches note noticeable progress in the game of each player, emphasizing the need to improve team strategy and physical preparation.
The second round of the Kyiv Open Club Championship confirmed that children's table tennis in the capital is actively developing, and young athletes have every chance of achieving high results in the future.
